In the city, on the street
For both living and working, we move through this space, the stage of human drama, the stage of the city. Within this stage it becomes apparent the contrast and hierarchy of power and operation, of abundance and desire.
Canal Street, Manhattan is one of the wildest neighborhoods in New York. People may have an interesting experience of a transition of street scenery while walking from China Town to Tribeca and Soho. The project proposes a mix of two contradictory concepts- flagship and knockoff, with an extreme spatial approach and suggestions to street and plaza in this overcrowded city.
