DK Park completed his Masters of Architecture Degree in December 2013 at Pratt Institute’s Architecture and Urban Design School in Brooklyn, New York. Before attending Pratt, he earned a Bachelors of Engineering Degree from Yeungnam University in Korea and came to New York to fulfill his passion for design.

DK has a well-balanced perspective of design that integrates both digital and traditional approaches rather than adhering to either extreme. Through this approach, his architectural interest is located at the conflux of intuition and computation in order to create uniquely beautiful constructs of various scales.

Some of DK’s selected works have been published in Pratt Institute’s archival press, INprocess, and the team project in which he participated, Pratt GAUD Show 2013, has been featured on Archinect, DesignBoom, and Evolo, among other websites. Another of DK’s recent work, Flagship+Knockoff, was exhibited at KAPA’s 1st Intergenerational Seoul Show in Korea in Summer 2013.
